Job Title: Vehicle Painter
Salary: £38,000-£48,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: EdinburghWe are currently looking for a Vehicle Painter to join our clients dedicated team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers.Vehicle Painter Main Duties:
  • Preparation, stripping, sanding and masking
  • Etching and priming areas to be treated
  • Colour matching and mixing
  • Paint application techniques
  • Applying several coats of paint including primer, colours and protective finishes
  • Buffing and polishing
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment
  • Paint defect corrections
  • Storing paints in the correct conditions
  • Panel beating and repairing any damaged exterior components
  • Repair and maintenance of general bodywork parts
Vehicle Painter Required Skills:
  • Previous experience of spray painting and hand brush painting is essential
  • Have previously worked on large vehicles
  • Flexible approach to working hours
