1. This position will require traveling between venues / depots during normal and or outside office hours for the site - work such as configurations, installations, inspections and any site related works.
2. This position requires mobile communication outside normal office hours for emergency purposes.Key Responsibilities / Tasks (but not limited to):
1. Conduct site surveys and inspection for the metering works, customer number plates, application/meter numbers, customer location, meter data on site, meter and cabinet status, sources of supply, availability, checking meter working condition and taking photos of meters.
2. Perform technical inspection to smart water meters by checking meter configuration, meter parameter files, etc. and to provide reports as per Kahramaa requirements.
3. Validate meter installation reports received from contractors/developers
4. Perform random site inspections for the meters installed by contractors/developers.
5. Install number plates for the customers
6. Coordinate with customer to access the location, making appointment with customers or contractor for inspection, find the meter belonging to the right customer for mismatch cases, using technical tester or tools to connect the meter to get data, verification of meter associated battery, cable, display, reading, accuracy test, reset, configuration, monitoring meter operation.
7. Provide report with troubleshooting, reason of fault, fix the fault, reporting etc. of all kinds and sizes of smart water meters for any location in Qatar as per Kahramaa’s instruction and as per Kahramaa reporting format.
8. Installation of all kinds and sizes of smart water meters in any location of Qatar as per Kahramaa’s instruction and guideline.9.Prepare site inspection report in various format with MS office applications.
10. Assist Kahramaa staff in materials inspection, segregation, sorting, updating stock list and meter data at Kahramaa Warehouse or Stores or at contractor/supplier store. This includes issuing/receiving of materials from contractors/suppliers.
11. Conduct Inspection, site surveys, Installation of smart water meters in any location in Qatar as per CWRs and Kahramaa standards along with tracking application, transferring, inspection, updating in system, keeping record and reporting all kind of data with Microsoft Office tools and Meter data management.
12. Check the operation of the smart water meter and ensure supply to customer.
13. Sort out mismatching customer meters and number plates on site in building wise.
14. Fixing of number plates on different type of premises and site situations. The activity shall be coordinated with customer to fix the location of meter, entry to customer premise, etc, including revisit if required.
15. Install temporary meter for maintenance cases and bring these meters to Kahramaa Test Bench for further accuracy test to be carried out and justify the result.
16. Site inspection / installation and follow up daily activities.

18. Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and metering testing/installation activities on site.
19. Review report of meter installation, testing and commissioning.
20. Checks single line diagram / CAD drawing of pip work and Metering connection / metering associated work in the underground connection.
21. Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
22. Install water systems, pipe connection and associated equipment.
23. Install of flues and pressure regulating devices.
24. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
