SEN Teaching Assistant-WiganTradewind recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to work with a child with autism within a Wigan primary school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the children within the class. You will also be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for the child who has autism and challenging behaviour.The hours of work are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, offering a stable and consistent work schedule, with daily pay rates of £90-£95. This role is to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

NVQ level 2 qualification
Experience of working with children with ASD
Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
