Parts Manager Peterborough Vauxhall and Peugeot Job descriptionWe are seeking a Parts Manager to join our Vauxhall and Peuget sites in Peterborough.You will be reporting into the Aftersales Manager and oversee the day-to-day running of the Parts department. What will I do on a daily basis?
  • Provide leadership and direction to the parts department
  • Ensure the dealership achieves optimum market penetration by maximising sales of parts to trade and retail outlets
  • Manage parts stock levels and keep debtors to a minimum
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all department administration and operational data
  • Develop a marketing and publicity strategy to promote all products and services effectively
  • Brief the team regarding department objectives and give regular feedback on achievements
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with supplier’s external representatives
  • Ensure the systematic recruitment, induction, and performance management of all department employees and aim to stabilise staff turnover by leading a motivated, productive and rewarded team
  • Achieve the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times
What experience do I need?To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced parts professional with leadership experience, ideally from the franchised dealership sector. In addition to you experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • A professional and calm approach with strong stakeholder management skills
