- Ensure accurate and timely filing and payment of Indirect taxes to country authorities.
- Review source data to validate content and identify anomalies.
- Prepare indirect tax returns, including digital reporting and on-line regimes.
- Carry out account reconciliations, payment follow-up and clearings.
- Apply and document SOX requirements.
- Assist with Tax Authority enquries.
- Review and update processes to support indirect tax compliance initiatives.
- Support and train the business with regard to indirect tax requirements and compliance.
- Run data analysis on current processes to identify improvements.

- Support and train the business with regard to indirect tax requirements and compliance.
- Run data analysis on current processes to identify improvements.
- A degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting, a specialization in Tax is an advantage.
- Previous experience of working with indirect taxes within an auditing or consulting firm, a tax authority or another multinational company.
- Technical knowledge of indirect tax, in particular EU/UK VAT legislation.
- A confident digital user of technology including Microsoft O365, Excel and/or other software. Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- An aptitude for computer automated processes and data analysis, able to work with large volumes of data.
- A proficient communicator, both in writing as orally.
- You may also have experience or knowledge of accountancy, or hold a proifessional qualification such as ATT, CTA or ACCA.
- As the team is spread across the UK, Norway and Belgium you will need to be prepared to travel approximately once every two months to one of these regions.
