Headquartered in the UK, Vitalograph has operations in Ireland, Germany and the USA.Reporting to the VP of CT Support Services the Cough Analyst Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of cough analysts within the Cough Analysis Team.Responsibilities as a Data/Cough Analyst Supervisor:· Provide line management, guidance, training and mentoring to Vitalograph Cough Analysts & Cough Analyst Team Leaders.· Perform appraisals and define personal development objectives and plans for team members.· Create work plans for team members to ensure recordings are analysed in the correct order to ensure all TAT’s are met.· Co-ordinate with other team and company disciplines to resolve any issues that may arise.· Active involvement in interviewing and team recruitment.· Ensure all Cough Analysis related SOP’s, company policies and processes are adhered to.· Reporting of Cough Analyst metrics and all analyst activities.· Co-ordinate other team disciplines to ensure team & company targets are met.· Co-ordinate with other internal team disciplines to ensure the smooth operation of the team.· Analysis of files from one of the company’s medical devices Maintenance of team logs and seating plans.· Assist other team disciplines with other team activities as required: Quality Checking of Recordings, team. document creation, review, or approval.· Perform quality audits to ensure a high level of quality with the team is maintained.Requirements as a Data/Cough Analyst Supervisor:· 2+ years’ experience in a supervisor or management role.· Excellent written/verbal communication skills.· Excellent computer skills including experience with MS Word and Excel.· Hard working, motivated, reliable with a good attitude towards their co-workers.· Competent person, capable of working under their own initiative with minimal supervision and a good team player.· 3rd level degree, or equivalent is desired.Key competencies:· Sees the big picture, understands key business drivers, anticipates challenges, navigates ambiguity and complexity.· Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.· Self-disciplined, organised and can take ownership and responsibility for business objectives.· Ability to positively influence thinking, behaviour, and gain commitment.· Hungry for new information and development; self-aware and has an urgent sense for continuous improvement.· Exceptional ability to leverage/collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong problem-solver.· Secures resources and builds the team, system and culture needed to meet commitments and drive results, balances short and long term needs and goals, and effectively leads change.· Ability to work with others in a spirit of good will and cooperation.The position will be subject to the successful completion of a training course that will be conducted in-house.
