Internalization Engineer AVP Position Overview Job Title- Senior Engineer Location- Pune Role Description: This role is for Senior Engineer responsible for design, development and unit testing software applications. The candidate is expected play a techno functional role to work closely with Lead Technology Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure good quality, maintainable, scalable and high performing software applications are delivered to users in an Agile development environment. The candidate should be coming from a strong technological background. Should be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance. Should be able to technically guide and mentor junior resources in the team. Work closely with team members and vendor team to design and develop software. Should have good communication skill and strong positive outlook. This role would require some degree of team handling. Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner Collaborate and partner with other teams involved in delivery chain Support DB leads in interviews, including administering 'audition interviews' for engineering function Provide functional and technical guidance to junior-level developers Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to establish technical product vision and enable its delivery in an iterative manner Participate in planning ,definition and high level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives Provide leadership and guidelines on sustainability and suitability of the solution Support continuous improvement of the team's process Your skills and experience Should have 10+ years of total experience with 6 to 8 years of relevant to Data Warehousing platforms Proficient in Oracle SQL Complex queries, Joins, Analytical functions, proficient in Oracle PL/SQL Functions, Procedures, Triggers, Types, Packages, read/write .xml & .json files using SQL and PL/SQL Experience in design Create Tables, Views, Indexes and Sequences Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code Proven Development Experience in SQL and PL/SQL Programming in Oracle 19c/12c in a Unix Environment Experience with Oracle Performance Tuning Should have good knowledge of Dev-Ops Deploy, GIT, Artifactory, Teamcity etc. Analysis skills, requirement refinement, data modelling, abstraction, excellent communication skills Testing Unit, System, Integration, UAT, Performance, Stability Good understating of principals to maintain legacy code, experience of supporting legacy code Ability to analyse data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns and trends Ability to analyze application dependencies and conduct impact assessment of changes Strong fundamentals in good design principles/patterns Strong Debugging and troubleshooting skills on Data warehousing and data sourcing projects Very good team player Ability to work under pressure and overtime to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Quick learner, pro-active and innovative Should act as a technical SME for others in the team How we'll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career.
