In your role as ADAS Project Manager, you will lead projects for the development of end customer-specific Level 2 to Level 3 functions such as the active lane change assistant or traffic jam pilot.The project you will lead requires your skills in leading distributed teams, as the majority of your colleagues work abroad. This is one of the largest and most important projects within Aptiv which is developed for a premium OEM. Aptiv is the strategic partner with very good customer contact and is working with them to bring autonomous driving into series production.Your Role:Leading project team meetings internally & on the customer sideProject planning & control within the framework of the product development process & customer requirementsResponsibility for the preparation and adherence to the budgetRisk and escalation managementPreparation of regular status reports for management and customersDevelopment and initiation of measures to achieve targets with a focus on deadlines, quality & costsMain interface to the customer, coordination of customer enquirersResponsibility for timely completion of the productRunning face to face meeting with customer on siteWilling to travel on quarterly basisYour Background:Successfully completed studies in engineering - preferably electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable qualificationSeveral years of experience in project management in the automotive industry, preferably with a software backgroundExperience in ADAS with focus on functional safety (ISO 26262); radar knowledge would be an advantageBusiness fluent in written and spoken English.Very good organizational and communication skills as well as assertivenessKnowledge of business managementKnowledge of software development processes and tools is an advantageTrustworthiness, commitment and dedication, initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a teamNice to Have:Experience with partnership with Middle Eastern customersExperiences in Jira , Polarion , ASPICE L2Financial backgroundSystem experience for vehicle integration of different ECUs and sensorsExperience for supplier tracking and steeringSW and HW backgroundWhy join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
