MAIN ACTIVITIES-Analysing the functional needs of the customer and the user.-Design a software and hardware architecture and select technologies, hardware, software and configurations.-Identify suppliers able to meet the needs of new projects or to replace obsolete components.-Design and produce the programs for the automation part, based on the project input data (specifications, system functional analyses, risk analysis, etc.).-Define and execute technical and functional test phases and procedures (planning, validation, etc.)-Analysing technical and functional problems and seeking corrective action.-Participate in meetings to monitor design, improvement and reliability projects, and carry out the following tasksreports.-Drafting the documents required for the development and maintenance of automation projects.-Participating in risk analyses and validating the technical solutions adopted.-Keeping a technological watch on hardware and software components.-Maintaining technical liaison with project managers.RESPONSIBILITIESCheck compliance with business standards (programming rules, cybersecurity, etc.) when carrying out projects.automation or industrial IT programmes entrusted to itProduce development and maintenance documentsCarry out regulatory tests in compliance with procedures.Propose reliable technical solutions and measure their impact on the project.Inform the project manager, a technical supervisor and/or the department manager of any difficulties encountered during the project and propose appropriate solutionsSKILLS REQUIREDModelling complex automation or industrial IT systemsuse of computer operating or automation systemsMastery of automation systems programming (Step7, WinCC, iX Développer, Codesys, etc.)Knowledge of programming in C#, Java, J2EE, J2ME, C/C++, Pascal, etc.Knowledge of industrial supervision systemsKnowledge of user interface development (design, user experience, ergonomics, etc.)Knowledge of analysis methods (functional, risk, etc.), electromechanics, project management (basic knowledge)Knowledge of the environment and constraints associated with the IEC 62304 standard and the development of V-cycle programmesLicence or master degree automation and/or industrial ITaccessible with professional experience in automation and/or industrial computing, operating systems or in an application domain.Fluency in English (technical vocabulary) is required.
