- Facilitates the continual cycle of risk identification, assessment, monitoring and review for Yanbu Industrial City, including cause analysis, impact and likelihood assessment, application of risk tolerances and the identification of potential mitigations.
- Assessment and integration of enterprise, national and international risks and implement the appropriate methodologies within Yanbu Industrial City.
- Proactively engages with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels to define control measures & mitigation plan and monitor its implementation across the organization.
- Actively participates in the implementation and management of Risk Management program in line with the Royal Commission direction and international standards & best practices, including the setting and reviewing of Risk Management strategy, development and application of policies and procedures, and training and awareness raising.
- Provides guidance and direction to specialist personnel in the Crisis & Disaster Management Department in terms of risk assessment and management.
- Drives and manages the appropriate strategies to improve the quality of risk assessments and risk registers.
- Interprets new or special governmental regulations, codes, standards, criteria and performance data.
- Keeps abreast of technological advances in the Risk Management and Assessment field.
- Applies expertise in the specialized field of crisis & disaster management to broadly stated problems.
- Serves as a consultant to project and specialist groups, providing advice and counsel on assignments having special and unique features.
- Must possess a degree with (12) years of minimum work experience.
- Proven experience of Risk Management in the field of emergency services or crisis and disaster management.
- Should be able to provide evidence of active Risk Management Certifications, and supervisory knowledge regarding International Risk Management frameworks for processes, principles and concepts such as ISO31000.
- Proven leadership skills to prepare and manage risk registers and interface with internal and external stakeholders in conducting risk reviews, horizon scanning and assessing capability gaps.
- Preference for professional experience in central or local government, emergency services, intelligence or security agencies or large corporate environments.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills with the ability to communicate at a high-level. Arabic would be an advantage.
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
