- Regularly engage with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the wine and spirits products being offered, including their origin, type, taste, food pairing, etc.
- Communicate product information effectively to customers and provide wine tasting when necessary.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Highlight the value proposition of products and demonstrate how they meet customer needs.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Balance competitive pricing with maintaining profit margins.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the wine and spirits industry.
- Use market insights to tailor sales strategies and identify niche markets.
- Set and achieve sales targets and quotas within defined territories or markets.
- Develop strategies to exceed sales goals and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline with accurate records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and manage sales activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales admin, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products and support for customer requirements.
- Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase products, network, and generate leads.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive process improvements and enhancements.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review.
- Uphold ethical standards in all sales activities, maintaining honesty and integrity in interactions with clients.
