Position Overview Job Title: QA & Testing Engineer Corporate Title: Associate Location: Pune, India Role Description Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans and deliverables are executed for all applications and programmes of work within their domain. Coordinate the preparation of test environments. Define and create all test data needed for the tests as per the business requirements. Raise defects in JIRA, monitor, retest and support until closure. Maintain regression test pack and ensure the pack is constantly updated in line with the key platform and architectural changes. Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to the emerging demands. Develop or support test automation strategy for large complex projects in Agile methodology. Actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g., daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc. Driving innovation and adoption of Industry practices through institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards. Experience in the areas of testing with specialization in Automation testing Hands on experience in Web Applications Automation Testing. Hands on experience in middleware/backend service-based application Testing. Experience in BDD automation framework and its maintenance. Experience in Non-Functional testing would be a plus. Your Skills And Experience 6+ years in the industry with exposure to working in large programmes. Hands on experience in Unix, SQL, sound knowledge on Hadoop technologies. Experience of Automated Testing using Selenium, BDD styled test case development. Good knowledge of using JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, IntelliJ(IDE), Good experience in Test and process automation. Knowledge on Google Cloud Platform is preferable. Knowledge in CI/CD tools would be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues. Ability to visualise things end to end and understand from both tech and business point of view. Bachelor's / Master's university degree.
