- Formulate research problems based on real-world security requirements and independently conduct high-quality research.
o Design and develop prototypes; deliver research results and provide competitive solutions.
- Standardize cryptographic algorithms and security protocols at international bodies.
o Participate and standardize related technologies in cryptographic algorithms and security protocols at various international bodies, including IETF, ISO, and IEEE.
o Prepare standardization documents, and develop running code when necessary.
- Work on Intellectual Property (i.e. patents).
- Develop collaborations with industry peers and academia.
- Hold M.Sc or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Cryptography, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Have one or more years of work experience in areas related to information security and/or applied cryptography and/or PQC.
- Rich standardization experience in international bodies, like IETF, ISO, IEEE, ETSI.
- Solid skills in at least one programming language, like C, C++, Java, Python, or shell scripts.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
- Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge in multiple areas of cryptology is desirable, including but not limited to:
o Public-key cryptography algorithms and proof skills
o Symmetric key algorithms and analysis
o Formal verification tools and modeling
o Applied cryptography (e.g. authentication protocols, key exchange protocols)
o Internet security protocols (e.g. TLS, IPSec, IKEv2, telephony-based security protocols)
