Our client, a well-established company in Basildon is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Service Co-ordinator to join their team to cover a 12-month maternity contract with the possibility of the role developing into a permanent contract.Our client is looking for a friendly and personable individual with experience of co-ordinating facilities maintenance engineers workloads alongside excellent communication skills, a confident and positive approach and the ability to multi-task.The focus of this role will be to provide a first-class service to customers. You will be answering incoming calls and dealing with planned preventative maintenance contracts and works and emergency breakdown / reactive calls. Other aspects of this role will include preparing quotes, ordering spare parts and carrying out all the related client, contract and compliance administration.For this role you will need:
  • Previous experience within a Facilities Maintenance Service Co-ordinator role
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • You must possess strong organisation skills, use your initiative, work independently and prioritise your workload.
  • Business and / or Administration Qualifications
  • Experience of Construction Manager or similar programmes.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. The client also offers free onsite parking.The salary for this position is £26,520 per annum rising to £28,730 after successful completion of 6-month probation period.
