We challenge ourselves constantly to deliver more for patients, healthcare professionals, our partners, and our employees.The TeamThis Medical Manager role sits within the Medical Affairs team and will be based in the Milan office in Italy but will interact with Global colleagues and Physicians so will need to be able to communicate in fluent Italian and English. The role will involve travel around Italy as well as some global travel. Previous experience as a Medical Manager / Managing Medical Affairs projects is essential and a background in Anti Infectives / Therapeutic areas would be beneficial.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Manager will perform tasks related to medical counselling and clinical research. Some key responsibilities of the role will include:Medical project management.Design, implementation and monitoring of medical education, training and clinical trial projects.Collaboration in the development of the medical plan of the medical department, in line with the corporate strategy.Evaluation and attention to requests for information from health professionals, whether in the form of bibliographic requests, clinical sessions, product dossiers, resolution of doubts or support in the development of projects of various kinds.Establish relations with scientific societies and develop projects of common interest.Contact with doctors specialised in the therapeutic area in which one works, to better understand the care and needs of patients.Development of teaching materials.Scientific advice to the company's other departments.Support the needs of commercial, market access, regulatory, quality, pharmacovigilance and global functions.Support in the development of promotional material and medical review of content.Participation in inter-departmental corporate projects.Training in therapeutic areas.Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas and drugs used for the treatment of related diseases.Training for the sales network and other internal and external customers on therapeutic areas, diseases and treatments and other medical areas of interest.Administrative management of the department.Update activity reports and departmental databases in their areas of responsibility.Management of procedures related to project initiation and development (suppliers, contracts, briefings to HCPs, compliance, SOP ....).What you’ll bringPrevious experience as a Medical Manager / Managing Medical Affairs projectsDegree in Health Sciences / Pharmacy / MedicineScientific knowledge of the pathology and products in the therapeutic area of expertise.Evaluation, design and implementation of medical projects, including clinical research studies.Scientific writing.Basic use of scientific literature search engines and bibliography managers.Microsoft Office softwareKnowledge of the regulatory framework regulating Medical Affairs/MSL activities in a pharmaceutical company, such as the Farmindustria Code of Good Practice for the Promotion of Medicines, the Code of Good Clinical Practice, legislation relating to clinical research and legislation applicable to drug advertising.Knowledge of the code of ethics established by Mundipharma.Ability to communicate in Italian and English (written and spoken).Good oral and written communication skills.Skills in the exchange of complex medical and scientific information, both oral and written, to ensure the safe and appropriate use of company products and knowledge of diseases.Ability to interact effectively with company staff and technical and clinical stakeholders, within hospitals, CROs and other suppliers related to medical-scientific projects.Ability to analyse and interpret scientific information.What we offer in returnflexible benefits packageopportunities for learning & development through our varied programmecollaborative, inclusive work environmentDiversity and inclusionBuilding an inclusive environment where people can thrive, grow and achieve their full potential is a priority.
