Job Overview: Under the direct supervision of the Language Services Manager, the Translation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of providing translation services as well as supporting customer success and account management duties. General Responsabilities Taking full responsibility for translation services and being accountable at all times. Clear communication with the language services manager in the event of any issues. Answer phones, texts, and emails during shifts. Stay connected every day to our virtual office during shifts. Deliver weekly reports to supervisor & attend weekly team meetings. Provide professional, happy, friendly, and intelligent customer service and technical troubleshooting to all clients/LEPs/Linguists at all times. Maintain current and accurate data at all times. TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT & QUALITY ASSURANCE Craft winning translation quotes that optimize margins and inspire clients to approve. Follow the standardized PM process for every translation request and monitor all translation projects from start to finish to ensure that projects are running smoothing & on time. Determining resource requirements (e.g. linguists, budget, timing) and optimal cost structure based on language project objectives and operational needs in conjunction with our Vendor Management team. Maintaining profit margins through the use of CAT tools, correct resource selection and calculating review time required. Ensure work is scheduled correctly and instructions are clearly communicated. Make sure files are labeled and named and organized correctly. Optimize source files for CAT tool conversion if necessary. Run a thorough Quality Assurance Check on all deliverables. Build TMs for specific clients and for internal purposes. Compile a Style Guide for MTLS and enforce those metrics on all translations. Collaborate with the Finance team to make sure rates are accurate and consistent across all our platforms (LSP.Expert and QBO) and troubleshoot any issues in Invoices and Purchase Orders. Follow-up with clients to upsell/cross-sell and/or get clients and linguist feedback. Reinforce PM processes and quality expectations with linguists and providing internal regular feedback for linguists. Mentoring and supporting junior project managers and training of back-up and contingency PMs on your accounts. CUSTOMER SUCCESS Translation PMs are expected to ensure all our company tools, information, and resources are available for our clients and linguists, that the client's workflow is smooth and easy with all requests and that any problems presented are fixed immediately (deliver any issues immediately to your supervisor when unsure). This includes live video remote and phone communication with clients. You may also be asked to participate in various light marketing campaigns under the direction of our growth department. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Every team member is front facing and therefore assumes a de-facto sales role for the company. You will be expected to Manage data and relationships for up to 10 client accounts. For each one of your accounts that reach their target sales goals you will receive a bonus. Account management responsibilities include: Account Planning: Creating tailored plans for each client account, including setting goals, timelines, and deliverables. Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely communication. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identifying opportunities to expand services or products offered to existing clients. Forecasting and Reporting: Analyzing data and trends to forecast future sales, and providing regular reports to clients and management. Team Coordination: Collaborating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to deliver on client commitments. Customer Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for the client within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Account Growth: Developing strategies to grow existing accounts and increase revenue streams. Working Conditions Days and time of work shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST Remote position Lunch break: Flexible, 1 hour Technology and other tools:RequisitosCandidate Profile - Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field preferred - Personality: Curious, nerdy, detail-oriented, organized, adaptable. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent writing skills, editing skills, formatting skills, and translation software skills. Curiosity and a sense of innovation. Excellent organization skills, communication, and punctuality. High ability to troubleshoot technical issues and handling customer service escalations. Translation project management experience (2 years min.) with the ability to be flexible and rapidly adapt and respond to business and client-driven changes. Proficient in Google Suite Office Applications and TMS software. High proficiency using CAT tools (We use Phrase). Proven knowledge of building and managing Translation Memories. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 17100 structures a plus. Start Date June 15th-30th.
