Duration: 12 MonthsHours: 35 hours per weekLocation: FiltonRates: £12.68ph PAYE for Days or £16.86ph PAYE NightsShift Pattern: Day shift – 4.5 days Monday – Thursday working 7am – 3pm and Friday 7am till 12pmNight shift – 8:15pm – 5:30am Monday – Thursday (Rotating Shift Pattern)Clearance: BPSSRole Purpose· Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing )· Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rulesUse adequate equipment (forklift, tow train....)to move materialRecords movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking )· Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency...This role may require specific accreditation to use specific handling equipment. The local job description must mentioned all necessary accreditation to use on site handling equipment.This role is part of the Supply Chain Function and whilst your responsibilities are predominantly focused on Logistics activities, there may be the requirement based on your skill set and experience to support the wider function when necessary due to business needs.Key Accountabilities· Ensure the safety procedures are followed by staff and drivers Process stock in line with site SLA's· Support stores stocktaking processes to ensure a robust count· Unloading supplier deliveries using POV's· Good knowledge of Logistical SAP transactions and processes Moves/handles materials between production cells Generates travel and drawing packs· Use of material handling equipment for material movements Pick/kit materials for production and issues from SAP Receive, inspect and store inbound (internal) deliveries· Pick, pack and ship product for onward delivery, internally and externally Delivery movements and collection between building and processes· Print and prepare Work To Lists Provide material call off lists for stores
