A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Technician to join our workshop in Aberdeen. This is a full time position offering 37.5 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. You will be expected to carry out the inspection, service, repair & test of hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical equipment.Main Responsibilities:
- Inspection, service, repair and test of all equipment brought into the workshop hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical dependant on equipment allocation and experience including winches, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hot oil flushing of hoses and pipework, hook balls / blocks, crane boom
- Ensure workshop area is kept clean & tidy and all company equipment is kept in good order
- Ensuring project requirements are met within time allocated or raising with Supervisor if there is an issue with this
- Assisting in any training required for newer members of the team
- Uphold the standards of the company and work in line with the company systems and objectives
- May be required to work on site locally as and when required
To be successful in the role you will have completed a mechanical apprenticeship or achieved a formal qualification and have solid experience in the repair and maintenance of the equipment outlined.It is preferred that you hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree or other relevant technical qualification with industry experienceDiversity & Inclusion
