Pay: £130-145 a day (depends on experience)A wonderful school in Hackney are looking for a qualified HLTA to come in to start from Monday 20th May. The position would be helping out with and often leading the Nursery class alongside other Teaching Assistants.We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a vibrant and diverse primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting classroom teachers and ensuring the smooth running of the school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in planning, delivering and assessing lessons
- Lead small group interventions and support students with additional needs
- Manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the holistic development of all students
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning and development
