- QuickBooks Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of all assets and liability accounts on the balance sheet including bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed assets, loan balances, payroll liabilities, etc.
- Historical Clean-Ups: Perform bookkeeping clean-ups for new clients as needed.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
- Month-End Close: Conduct other month-end closing procedures.
- Cash and Accrual Basis Support: Assist both cash and accrual basis clients with their specific needs.
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online, QBO Certified a plus.
- Expert understanding of financial statements.
- Ability to create and configure QuickBooks instances from scratch.
- Experience with both cash and accrual accounting.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with virtual tools such as video conferencing and chat.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong command of best practices and ability to provide insight to clients.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize process bottlenecks and identify solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Ramp, Expensify, Bill.com, Brex and e-commerce platforms.
