About the RoleAn Outstanding mixed school in Harrow seeks a dynamic Physics Teacher to join their science department. You'll inspire students with a passion for physics across Key Stages 3-5.Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons, covering core physics concepts and practical investigations.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
  • Develop students' understanding of scientific principles and experimental design.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the physics curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead physics-related extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and STEM projects.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
  • Proven experience in teaching physics at secondary level, including A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics.
  • Excellent communication and practical skills.
