Our client is a renowned global reinsurer.About the job ...The role involves overseeing daily treasury operations, including cash and asset management, and coordinating with financial institutions. Compliance with IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements is essential, requiring meticulous attention to detail in tasks like monthly closing and account reconciliations. Financial analysis against prior periods and plans is also part of the responsibilities, alongside facilitating external audits and responding to inquiries from stakeholders. The position includes supporting internal control reviews and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. Intercompany transaction reconciliation and participation in regional accounting projects are expected, with a focus on training and developing junior team members.Skills and experience required
Degree in accounting & finance, or any professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA) with at least 5 years of accounting & reporting experience in the re/insurance industry.
