About YouWe are looking to expand our talented Southern Sales Team and recruit a Field Based Sales Consultant who has customer-focused sales experience gained within housebuilding, hospitality, care, or travel. You will need to be customer centric and can foster and deliver a positive customer experience at every stage of the customer journey.What the Field Based Sales Consultant role involvesAt McCarthy Stone we place our customers at the very heart of our culture and core values, as our Field Based Sales Consultant you will bring enthusiasm, tenacity, and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver the sales which encompasses lead generation and qualification; developing interest and commitment; negotiating pricing, closing sales; whilst ensuring that the customers remain informed, engaged, and committed through to sales completion.Our Field Based Sales Consultants primary focus will be to deliver the end-to-end sales process on sites across the Hampshire, as required, are accountable for delivering and supporting the delivery of agreed targets for reservations, completions, price levels and customer satisfaction. In addition, they are required to cover as a Sales Consultant for sickness, holidays, and other business requirements. They may also be required to conduct home visits, attend PR Events, and attend training sessions.Benefits of joining our sales team:Financial:

What do we look for in a Sales ConsultantWe understand the importance of our people and invest in training and development ensuring that you are provided with the guidance and support you need to truly realise your potential.You will have:
  • Previous customer-focused sales experience is a pre-requisite, gained within a similar environment, whether that is within housebuilding, hospitality, or care.
  • Previous experience of outbound calling, coupled with proven conversation rate of visit to reservation would be advantageous
  • A valid UK Drivers Licence: in the event you are required to visit customers away from the site
You will be:
  • Highly competent in questioning and listening - to gain a genuine understanding of the customers’ requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style to suit customer needs
  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Proficient organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to handle and manage difficult conversations with customers and third parties
  • Results driven, able to use own initiative, think outside the box, multitask, and work to multiple deadlines.
