- Preparing cost estimates and project schedules for HVAC installations and upgrades.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs.
- Selecting and specifying HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and ductwork.
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
- Conducting site visits to assess existing HVAC systems and troubleshoot any issues.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues regarding HVAC systems.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
- Proven experience in designing and installing HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Professional certification in HVAC engineering is a plus.
