Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift).- Working with the Logistics Manager, create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement.
- Working closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehiclesAbout the team

- 2+ years of material forecasting experience
- 2+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Inventory or logistics tertiary qualification or studying towards one
- Experience with SQL
- Material resource planning knowledgeAdditional role requirements
- A Valid Driver's License is required
- Lift loads of up to 40 pounds and carry them for short distances
- Push or pull heavy objects into position
- Work in a noisy environment
- Stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time
