Nowra Christian School (NSW) is expanding and as a result we are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our team in 2025, in the following position:History/Biblical Studies TeacherFull-time Secondary position teaching History and Biblical Studies, commencing Term 1, 2025. - An opportunity to share your love for Jesus and have a positive impact on the lives of young students in a Christian context
- Could also suit a part-time candidate willing to teach either History or Biblical Studies

Selection Criteria - A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
- An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
- Experience and appropriate qualifications in teaching Stages 4 – 6 History
- A willingness and ability to teach Year 7-10 Biblical Studies
- An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
- An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
- Excellent classroom management
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
