- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Show empathy, patience, and understanding when working with students of different abilities and backgrounds.
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and implementing lessons, providing additional support to students as needed.
- Aid in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Be willing to work across different year levels and subjects, providing support wherever necessary.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of teaching materials, resources, and equipment.
- Willingness to participate in additional training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, other teaching assistants, and school staff to create a harmonious learning environment.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture that values teamwork, respect, and collaboration.
