Responsibilities
  • The Clinical Informatics Analyst will be committed to the overall success of the Organization.
  • The Clinical Informatics Analyst will actively participate in the planning, development, implementation, education and training of the clinical and operational documentation that affects patient care and the overall adoption of new technologies.
  • Provides analytical and operational expertise to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other related system initiatives.
  • In addition, works closely with clinical IT staff to ensure seamless integration between clinical function and system capabilities.
  • Other responsibilities include: call support both on-site and as needed, clinical education of new systems functionality and remedial updates, provider education of new systems functionality, remedial updates and troubleshooting, issue identification including follow ups and resolutions, process improvement identification and clinical observation assessment and service linesattendance.
  • They must keep updated on the organizations policies and procedures.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
  • Experience in hospital operations preferably in a patient care setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Complete assigned tasks report progress or problems to management
  • Monitor trends in clinical data to provide management with information regarding changes from normal
  • Participate in educational programs related to Clinical informatics projects
