Location: HybridWhat this job involves
  • Provide technical support and mentoring as required to the project team
  • Localize regional training material for use in local training and onboarding sessions
  • Provide training to designers and technicians on a regular basis and aid the teams as required
  • Support the teams in Revit modelling the interior design of commercial projects in preparation for documentation
  • Champion Revit / BIM best practices to improve efficiency at project level. Actively practice and support ongoing improvements to our tools, software, and workflows that will improve our deliverables
  • Support the teams in the creation of plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules and all required elements of design and construction documentation in Revit
  • Mentor and develop local designers and CAD technicians to adopt BIM into their deliverable production workflows
  • Work on projects from inception to completion with the design and project team members
  • Manage and execute the Design documentation
  • Specify furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment in the BIM model
  • Day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines
  • Work with client representatives, consultants, contractors, vendors to meet overall project objectives
  • Attend client meetings when required and be present during site visits
  • Coordinate with the project management and construction teams to ensure cohesive documentation for construction
  • Design documentation, technical drawing and interior package documentation for workplace fit outs, including joinery documentation
  • Ability to work with the team members on value-engineering to maintain the design intent
  • Undertake site, furniture, and equipment surveys
  • On-site coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors during construction.
  • Deliver medium to large-scale workplace projects
  • Guide, advice, mentor and coordinate other designers and professionals on projects
Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualificationsDesired experience and technical skillsRequired
  • Qualified professional in Design, Architecture or related discipline or field with 3-5 years of experience in a BIM role working in medium to large scale commercial projects particularly in workplace interiors
  • Strong technical background and expertise in Autodesk Revit Architecture, AutoCAD software, BIM360, Revit family creation and modelling
  • Has a good understanding of the built digital environment and how ideas can be modelled and realized
  • A strong level understanding of how a design project can be translated into the BIM environment
  • Training of teams and individuals in the development of BIM documentation in Revit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Power Bi is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with the modelling process in BIM and excellent IT skills are highly desirable, coupled with an extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
