The work ranges from overhauling HV enclosures, electrical maintenance and upgrades on hard rock and mining equipment, as well as switchboard installations and electrical work on transportable buildings.Kooragang Positions (Workshop):In this role you will be working on demountable buildings, large switchrooms and substations. Pay Rate $49.83/hr + Penalties- 5 day weeks with potential Saturdays on offer.You will be required to conduct the following:
Control Panel Termination
Cabling
Switchboard Wiring
Panel Wiring
Roughing in for lighting and power
Thornton Positions (Workshop):In this role, you will be working on underground mining equipment, both servicing and upgrading equipment for hard rock and coal mines. Pay Rate $50.04/hr + Penalties - 4 day weeksYou will be required to conduct the following:
Electrical diagnostics and repairs
Interpreting schematics
Panel Wiring
Flameproof upgrades and repairs
Servicing to mobile underground mining equipment
Mayfield West (Site Work):In this role, you will working on a range of industrial sites across the Hunter. Pay Rate $53+/hr + Penalties- 5 day weeksYou will be required to conduct the following:
Heavy Industrial Site Maintenance and Installations
Interpreting schematics
Installing cable and cable ladders
Control Panel Installation
Switchroom MCC wiring and modifications
On-site terminations
