Salesperson works with professionalism and consistency to successfully achieve sales goals. You will learn the five basic services Kitchen Tune-Up offers and how to sell options to our customers.Please check out website kitchentuneup.com to review our services. We are primarily a cabinet refinisher to full demo and custom cabinet installer. Training for this position is 2 weeks, online and in person.Reporting RelationshipThe salesperson reports to the manager.Duties and Relationships * Calls each lead, scheduled or otherwise, to discuss project needs and documents within Service Minder conversation, before pics and inspiration pics.
  • Ensure leads are tracked within Service Minder for reporting purposes
  • Creates outside leads and sales other than those generated by paid for advertising. Cold Calling applicable businesses, visiting realtor offices, business meet & greets, etc.
  • Qualifies each prospect’s wants and needs into a plan of sales actions, making you prepared for the in-home appt and signing proposals in-home.
  • Performs job site measuring and gathers the information necessary to create a cabinet layout, which meets the customer’s needs.
  • Photographs the remodeling jobs that are being measured to provide “before” photographs for the showroom album.
  • Gathers information on all job-related products in order to provide a presentation to the customer.
  • Assembles a quote and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale.
  • Revises quotes or drawings as customers’ wants and needs are assessed.
  • Collects payments from customers as contract layouts.
  • Communicates necessary information to KTU Design Services to enable them to complete a cabinet order. Or, if KTU Design Services is not used complete and place the order himself with the guidance of your project manager.
  • Completes the purchase order requisition to enable the Administrative Assistant to type the purchase order.
  • Initiates any job change orders.
  • Meets the installer at the job prior to installation to inspect and cover all necessary details.
  • Continues customer contact during the job and monitor all related activities.
  • Processes all credit card payments from the customer.
This position is commission based and based upon your sales experience. Typically 7-10%. We expect each part-time sales person to provide $500,000 of sales per year.
