- Working with management team to develop effective go-to-market strategy and channel programs to drive growth.
- Extensive customer interaction with key influencers to drive growth, loyalty and competitive displacement.
- Meeting or exceeding sales forecasts and effectively manage the sales cycle, including building an effective sales pipeline and channel assuming responsibility for yearly, quarterly and monthly sales projections and revenue results.
- Identifying, recruiting and managing an ecosystem of partners, including software providers and systems integrators.
- Personally selling solutions into strategic accounts or partners.
- Developing and fostering relationships with end-user accounts.
- Leading and developing team, ensuring regular and accurate sales activity and account updates to management through direct reporting and CRM (e.g. Salesforce.com and other CRM systems).
- Collaborating with marketing communications team to develop awareness and lead generation campaigns and provide support to their execution.
- Providing market intelligence and feedback. Keeping abreast of any new developments or competitive information that may enhance or threaten growth initiatives for HID Extended Access Technologies.
- Influencing, managing and driving accountability of people without having direct authority over them. Taking a “hands-on” approach and assisting the sales team in closing deals.
- Motivating and maintaining a high morale performance-driven culture.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to influence, build effective collaboration with industry partners and to speak at public events.
- Ability in additional languages a strong plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
- Familiar CRM tools and analysis such as Salesforce.com.
- B.Sc. or B.A. degree in a business or technical field.
- 12-15+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in sales with a proven record of accomplishment in achieving multi-million dollar revenue targets and strategic growth goals in the Airports & Airlines sector.
- Well-rounded sales leadership experience with proven ability to develop and grow new markets, influence markets, bid, negotiate and close deals with end users and with partners with a strong historical achievement against quota.
- Strong account management and ability to become a trusted advisor to customers
- Minimum 10 years experience selling technology solutions and products, including some products within Biometrics, RFID or document scanning devices.
- Significant experience in managing multinational team to drive global results.
