Job Description: Job Description The Senior Accountant will handle high-level accounting and will assist the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring completion of all activities of the accounting department. Essential Functions: Assist in all aspects of accounting, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses Prepare and review monthly financial statements within established deadlines Work closely with billing and IT departments to validate revenue calculations Monitor cash balances Assist with quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts Organize information and statements for audits and tax returns Assist with local/state licensing and tax requirements Additional Senior Accountant duties as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; with intermediate to advanced Excel skills Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy CPA is required US Accounting experience Amenable to work on a night shift schedule and onsite
