Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our client’s finance team in Halifax, NS within a permanent role. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the successful candidate will foster and maintain strong relationships and be responsible for assisting with various other accounting support duties as needed.Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Prepare and send customer invoices
  • Run reports and prepare recoverable invoices
  • Process intercompany invoices
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Posting daily receipts
  • Manage the AR inbox and correspond as needed
  • Ad hoc invoices for special project contacts
  • Support with year-end audit
  • Support with the implementation and management of internal controls and processes
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or other related field
  • Experience with full cycle accounting, financial reporting, and/or customer billing is preferred, but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • Strong technical and computer skills, with the ability to quickly pick up systems and processes
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
