- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant and lounge team.
- As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including food and beverage operations, customer service, marketing, and financial management.
- You will be expected to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all restaurant and lounge operations, including food and beverage preparation, service, and presentation
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
- Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize menu offerings, pricing, and promotions
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotions
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant and lounge
- Manage and lead a team of department heads, including kitchen, front of house, and bar staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety, employment, and liquor licensing
- Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and promote employee development and growth.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior management role in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving profitability
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of restaurant and lounge operations, including food and beverage preparation, service, and presentation
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and financial reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field (e.g. CMA, CHA)
- Experience with marketing and social media platforms
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and liquor licensing laws.
