Here are some of the perks and rewards.Generous benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance)Generous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell‘A focus on continued personal developmentPaid time off work for volunteering in the communityAccess to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyleWhat you’ll do:Ensure the completion of repairs and overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgetsEnsure adherence to safety practices and quality standardsCarry out the total maintenance of equipmentMaintain the stock levels of materials required and ensure that the appropriate tools are in place and ready for useReport and document component failuresContribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipmentAssist, support, and train service crewTest and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators and prepare test reports as per ISO standardsThe duties described above cover the focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.You’ll have the following skills and experience:Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (can include apprenticeship)Experience servicing, repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery)Good organisational & communication skillsGood level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applicationsWell organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standardsBring your energy.
