A key client of ours, specialising in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking to onboard a Finance Analyst to join their team of professionals:Duties:

Support accountants in month-end reporting, budget preparation, provision of information and ad hoc reports.
Maintain the asset registers and reports on stock control.
Ownership and support of the standard costing model and process, providing accurate information for costing, sales/cost of sales and other reporting purposes.
Monitoring, accounting and reporting on factory variances on a regular basis as required by the site
Ensure compliance with Finance guidelines and internal controls.
Supports the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow preparation.
Ensure accuracy of Nominal Ledger and produce reconciliation of major account balances
Prepare VAT returns.

Requirements

Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be considered a strong asset
Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Cost Accounting knowledge and experience
Analytical and financial modelling skills

Education and Experience

Part qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
