- You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver all types of geotechnical projects.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of small to medium sized project and assist in the delivery of large projects.
- Manage geotechnical investigations including field coordination, subcontractors, budget, and schedule.
- Engineering design and assessment to various geotechnical systems including foundation design, slope stability, settlement analysis, etc.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and memorandums.
- Assist with Client Management and Business Development
- University degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Intermediate level experience in geotechnical engineering with project management experience.
- Licensed with or the ability to be licensed with the Professional Engineers Ontario as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Able to work closely with our project teams across the company where geotechnical support may be of assistance, such as Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation and Building Sciences.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to communicate effectively, as well as proactively respond to clients on time sensitive items.
- The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, clients and managers.
- Proven technical writing skills in the preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and letters for clients.
