If so, come join us and help us build one of the industry’s most complete and advanced data and analytics eco system.As the AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for developing solutions to support the delivery of product roadmaps for multiple AI/ML platforms. You will engage with technical product manager, architect, and other members of the organization to design and deliver solutions to address business needs. You will also be responsible for testing the solutions, updating SDLC documentation and releasing capabilities as part of specific product releases.What you'll do

Build capabilities within AI/ML platforms based on customer needs. This may include Posit platform upgrades and modernization, building custom platform capabilities using various coding languages (R, Python etc.), using AWS services, building CI/CD deployment solutions, monitoring the platforms, and building platform automation scripts.
Collaborate with different product teams to design and develop platform integrations.
Work with Product Managers and architects to design technical solution to address business needs, develop technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources for AI/ML platforms.
Evaluate and enable new capabilities in Posit and other platforms within specified timelines.
Troubleshoot platform issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to mitigate issues going forward.
Estimate the effort required to build a new capability and deliver it within the agreed upon timelines.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability robustness, and accuracy of the platforms.
Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and implementation teams.
Effectively engage, both in person and virtually, with a global, multi-cultural team across different products to identify and leverage synergies.

Required skills

A strong understanding of the Posit ecosystem (Workbench, Connect and Package Manager), Base R & Python
Expert knowledge of either AWS cloud eco system, including storage services, database services, streaming and messaging services, AI/ML, and cognitive services, scalability services such as EKS.
Knowledge of R/Python programming, data manipulation, content creation (shiny, streamlit, dash, etc.) using the Posit tools.
Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining Posit server environments.
Experience and knowledge of different Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian)
Skills to manage user authentication and authorization, implement access controls, and enforce security policies within the Posit environment.
Experience and knowledge of Ansible, an open-source automation tool, to define the tasks required to implement changes in the Posit infrastructure consistently.
Knowledge in scripting languages like Shell scripting, or PowerShell to help automate routine administrative tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and 3+ years of experience in platform engineering and IT development projects.

Nice to have skills

Knowledge of SLURM
Knowledge of containerization platforms like Docker
Knowledge of integrating Posit with other systems and databases (Posit professional drivers, integrating with Artifactory and Bitbucket).
Ability to maintain accurate documentation of Posit configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Good understanding of machine learning concepts.
Experience working on Agile teams and knowledge of Scrum framework.
