Activities Co-ordinator based at Lauriston, St Leonards on Sea Job descriptionAvailable Hours:Permanent – Part Time – 10 hours per week.Please note we are only accepting candidates currently living within a 10-mile radius of the Care HomeLooking to use your skills to benefit older people in a homely environment?We are currently recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator to join our team and to work within the Home to provide activity opportunities for our residents.In conjunction with the senior team, you will be responsible for planning and running a programme of activities for the residents linked to assessed social needs identified in care plans.You will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting activities that older people enjoy and find stimulating.Your ability to design and facilitate group activities is essential.For more information about the role please review the Job Description attached.About the homeAt Lauriston, we provide residential, nursing and residential dementia care for 60 residents, in purpose-built, en suite accommodation. We’re situated in St Leonards on Sea less than a mile from Hastings town centre and the coast.
