The work we do here matters.Department Overview Enterprise Channel & Sales Operations focuses on developing and implementing an impactful and effective partner experience including program, tools and processes conducted when doing business with Motorola Solutions. As a result, this enables sales to achieve their short and long-term objectives. These relate to channel sales revenues, profit and market penetration.Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Sales Operations Manager will work with our Global PCR Sales Leadership team. This role is crucial in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of a sales team. Operational functionality is key to driving revenue and growth by optimizing processes for future growth.The responsibilities of the Global Sales Operations Manager include but are not limited to:Collaborating with senior executives to define the overall sales strategy (i.e sales goals, target markets and revenue projections)Providing support to the sales team in terms of data, reports, and insights to enhancetheir effectiveness.Analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Managing and maintaining salesforce to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.Creating regular reports and dashboards to track sales performance and KPIs.Assisting in sales forecasting and budgeting processes.Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline sales operations.Providing training to the sales team on tools, processes, and best practicesTracking and reporting on key sales metrics, such as conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and pipeline management.Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies.Implementing and managing sales-related software and tools.Performance Evaluation: Developing and maintaining performance evaluation systems for the sales team. The specific job description may vary depending on the company's size, industry, and needs.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in product management, business, technical, or any related field, Masters a plus8+ years of experience in operations managementStrong leadership skills to evaluate team performance and provide training and coaching when necessaryCommunication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and leadershipAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategiesFinancial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunitiesTechnology skills to utilize salesforce and database software tools in daily tasksResearch and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecastsExceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skillsBasic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in operations/sales/engineering OR 12+ years of experience in operations/sales/engineering
