Salary group B1 according to Uni-KV, monthly
minimum salary excl. benefits: € 3,578.80 for 40 hours per week (14 x per year), the actual classification is based on any creditable job-specific previous experience.Would you like to actively conduct future-oriented research and develop innovative high-performance plastics based on renewable raw materials? With your teamwork and communication skills as well as your organizational talent, you will make a significant contribution to the success of Montanuniversitaet Leoben within the framework of a multidisciplinary research project.What can you expect?
Exciting and varied work: Material design and functionalization of (bio-based) epoxy resins to enable their reuse, repair and/or resource-efficient recycling
Communication: Presentation of research results at international specialist events and workshops
Documentation: Responsibility for documenting the progress of the project (progress reports, meetings, etc.)What do you bring with you?
Education: Completed Master's degree in the chemistry, physics, technical chemistry or physics, plastics technology or recycling technology in combination with a high level of technical/economic understanding
Experience: Profound knowledge of the chemistry and physics of polymeric materials, in particular with regard to morphology and structure including their analysis, as well as in the field of material modification and optimization
Language skills: Excellent knowledge of German and English (written and oral)
IT skills: Very good knowledge of the entire MS Office package, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Personal qualities: High motivation and initiative, independence, ability to work in a team and organizational skills as well as the willingness to write scientific publications; willingness to write a dissertation
Willingness to travel
