As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, including physical, emotional, and learning difficulties. Your key responsibilities will include: * Individualised Support: Tailor support to students, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential in Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Progress Monitoring: Track students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to ensure their educational development.
- Emotional Support: Create a nurturing and safe environment, offering emotional support and encouragement to students.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
- Inclusion: Promote a sense of belonging and inclusion for students with special educational needs within the school community.
- Relevant experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students with special educational needs succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with the school team.
- Previous experience in supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous
- A competitive daily rate of £76-£100.
