- You will act as the liaison between customers and the IDEXX laboratories.
- As a member of this team, you will answer customer questions as well as provide administration support.
- You will work in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders in order to effectively escalate a wide variety of calls.
- You will provide and clarify lab test results, coordinate follow-up tests on samples, and help coordinate the pickup and delivery of samples.
- You will be a master problem solver with a fine attention to detail.
- You are fluent in Spanish and business English or Portuguese.
- You have the ability to be proactive by nature and actively reach out for follow up for any customer inquiry.
- You have the ability to prioritize different tasks and you enjoy problem solving.
- Superb communication and listening skills are a must in order to be a successful customer support specialist.
- You have an ability to learn quickly and apply skills and abilities to a variety of customer interactions
- You are experienced in a technically related field, veterinary practice, laboratory setting, and/or contact center environment is helpful. Networking and/or software support is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
- Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment
- You possess preferably a vet nurse or veterinarian background or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours a day.
