- Manage dnata catering’s Maintenance team members and Contractors across the network, including but not limited to developing and approving work schedules and invoice approvals.
- Liaise with Business/Unit Managers and Operations Managers to ensure the dnata catering fleet is operational and safety compliance is maintained at all times.
- Plan and coordinates mechanical services for the fleet and equipment, including repairs and general maintenance.
- Approve MEX PO/WO as required for all fleet maintenance.
- Ensure fleet reliability, serviceability, and availability are maintained to KPI targets.
- Evaluate job performance of the maintenance team members.
- Liaise with the company safety compliance team to ensure the program for fleet maintenance is adhered to, based on dnata catering’s compliance standards.
- Assist with strategic planning of the fleet program, including program expansion, and design/build/order process of potential new vans, catering trucks, and equipment.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly compliance reports and review results with maintenance team members and unit management.
- Maintain vehicle warranties and ensure that claims are made when applicable.
- Manage and maintain vehicles according to effective cleaning schedules.
- Ensure Fleet standards and modifications are maintained nationally.
- Work within budgets as supplied by the company or KPI targets.
- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Minimum of three years of fleet management experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in program operations or project management.
- Staff supervisory experience.
- Class “HR” Commercial/Certified Driver’s License with required endorsements.
- Excellent driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple worksites within Australian States and Territories.
- The ability to conduct research and analyze complex issues and engage with key stakeholders to identify options.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong organizational/time management skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high volume, high-value environment.
