Your Typical Responsibilities
  • Flexible to troubleshoot (mechanical, electrical, programs), advanced machinery and automation technologies, including but not limited to:
  • Extrusion equipment, roll formers, powder coating equipment, wood processing/planning equipment, robots, thermoforming equipment, punching equipment, powder coating, conveyors and some minor HVAC and Plumbing.
  • Comfortable handling troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulically driven equipment, running conduit, troubleshooting PLCs (print set, fuses, 3 strand conductors, e-stops, I.P. address, pinging machines)
  • Must be able to perform and be responsible for the Preventative Maintenance Program and associated record keeping on machines
Your Background
  • 3-5 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience from an automated manufacturing environment encouraged.
  • Certificate in an industrial program or technical degree (e.g., Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering Technology) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial automation components such as relays, sensors, transducers, actuators, variable-frequency drives, PLCs, and robotics.
  • Experience with running/hanging service installations at heights using conduit, black pipe, etc.
  • Familiarity with PLC software, preferably Allen Bradley or Siemens, and ability to troubleshoot programs online.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime if necessary.
  • Proficiency with basic machining, welding and fabrication techniques
