Information about the positionAs a Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting solutions that meet our users' needs. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional peers, including Product Managers, Data Analysts, and Engineers to make offers, bundles, and messaging efficient and seamless to use for sellers and buyers.With design ingrained at all levels of our organization, including senior leadership, your impact will be valued and recognized.   • Join a cross-functional team in the checkout area to be the voice of our members, define problems and goals, map flows, prototype interactions, and support the development process.
  • Take charge of design planning and execution for the initiatives owned by your cross-functional team.
  • You'll work closely with the Senior Product Designer in the Checkout track. Soliciting feedback and receiving guidance on deliverables and plans.
  • Conduct usability tests to assess and validate design ideas and collaborate with User Researchers on discovery studies to build a 360 view of the problem.
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional partners.
  • Be part of a marketplace domain and report to the Transactional Director.
About you
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and shipping web products and mobile native apps.
  • Good understanding of the design process, discovery and delivery.
  • Designing with qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Solid Interaction design, visual design and evaluative user research skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • A strong collaborator with cross-functional peers.
