Our Construction department are looking for a motivated individual to join our Plumbing and Heating team part time at the Higham Ferrers campus.This is a 15 hours per week vacancy and we are looking for a candidate available on a Tuesday and Wednesday.Your DutiesWe teach across a broad curriculum from Level 1 - 3 and you will act as a course tutor to full-time and part-time groups and undertake the associated organisation, administration, and monitoring of attendance.You will participate in curriculum development to meet the needs of changing industrial demand and College development.There is a lot of potential to grow this area of the curriculum and you will play a vital role in ensuring the College is best placed to serve the needs of industry and our students.Person SpecificationWe welcome applicants from an industry background without a teaching qualification provided they can show a willingness to work towards this. Candidates must have a level 3 in Plumbing or Gas Engineering. We also require applicants to have the ability to support, assess and course manage groups of learners while managing student behaviour, attendance and timely assessments, in both practical and theory.CLOSING DATE: Tuesday 7 May 2024 at 5:00pm.£13,395 to £15,976 pa (pro rata to the full time equivalent of £33,487.00 - £39,941.00 pa)
