- Able to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other members of staff throughout the school.
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3/4 curriculum.
- Have recent experience as an SEN Teacher.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- Have experience working alongside children with SEMH needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
