Portfolio Director

• Take line management and provide a close level of support and leadership to multiple Project Directors leading projects within your assigned portfolio.
• Forge strong Client relationships. Ensure the needs and expectations of the clients are exceeded on a regular basis.
• Develop new business in the kingdom with key Clients.
• Secure repeat business with existing Client base.
• Continually looking to elevate the “WSP brand” and differentiate WSP from its competitors in the way we work, our use of technology and our overall Client experience we offer.
• Hold an unwavering appetite for quality across all we do. The service we provide, the client interactions, the teams we build and design we produce.
• When required, ensure assigned projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting client requirements and business objectives.
• When required, lead the project teams to ensure that the deliverables are submitted on schedule and meet client expectations.
• Ensure that the terms of the contract are followed and managing scope changes by effectively delivering project objectives.
• When required, operate as the PD and manage the project teams including architects, engineers, consultants, construction managers and administrative support.
• At portfolio level, monitor progress, provide financial control, and ensure quality of project.
• Provide support to the Project Director to facilitate delivery of construction.
• Responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the project
• Lead and manage the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
• Ensure robust project plans and forecasts are produced and regularly updated.

• Successfully led numerous complexes, large scale projects across a range of clients and multi-disciplinary teams
• 20+ years’ experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary projects in the capacity of Project Director
• Well-versed with respect to delivering a fully coordinated project using the latest engineering design and collaboration tools, including BIM.
• Working for an international consultancy for around 15-20 years and over 5 years of my experience has been in the Middle East
• A degree in a discipline suited to the work I deliver, with the ability to converse in technical matters across all disciplines associated with our Program Management and Construction Management projects.
